Who we are
The S+ Money CIS Refund Calculator is published by S+ Money ("we"). We are the controller for the personal data described here. Contact: hello@splusmoney.co.uk.
This policy covers the calculator tools you use inside AI assistants such as ChatGPT, the web calculator at refund.splusmoney.co.uk, and these help pages.
What we collect

The calculator does not ask for or need your name, UTR, National Insurance number, bank or card details, health data, location, chat history or any login. There is no sign-in.
The AI assistant you use decides what to send to the tool and keeps your conversation under its own privacy policy. We don't receive your conversation, only the figures listed above.
What we do with it
- Calculator figures are not stored. In ChatGPT they're worked out on our server and discarded once the answer is sent. On the web page the sums run in your own browser and the figures never leave your device.
- No advertising cookies or tracking on the result card or the calculator page.
Legal basis (UK GDPR): our legitimate interests in providing a calculator you've chosen to use and keeping it secure.
Who receives it
- Our hosting and content-delivery provider, which runs the server and processes requests on our behalf.
- The AI assistant provider you use, which sends your figures to us and receives the result.
- Authorities, if the law requires it.
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
- Calculator figures: not kept.
- Technical request data: normally no more than 30 days, kept by our hosting provider for security.
Your rights
- You can disconnect the app from ChatGPT at any time in its settings.
- You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@splusmoney.co.uk.
- You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Children
The calculator is for self-employed adults and is not aimed at anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update this page and the date at the bottom.
